Aussie ROCKSCHOOL Project Band:
The Aussie ROCKSCHOOL project Band program, has been designed to ensure a career pathway for 'graduates' of the training band program.
Project Band participants receive mentoring from a group of Professional Musicians to develop their skills in Cover and Original band performance and to work towards Nationally recognised accreditation (Certificate 1-4 in Music Industry).Very specific goal setting and 'Co-Management' is also a feature of this program. *Project bands are 'normal size' bands. An average of 5 participants are in each project band.
There are currently two ways that an Aussie ROCKSCHOOL project Band is created -
a. Lengthy student participation in an Aussie ROCKSCHOOL Training Band or b. The creation of a 'project band' (an Audition process will take place to select the right members for a project band).General Overview -
a. Rock Band Training (Cover and Original Songs)b. Co-Management (to enable bands to increase their performance opportunities / skills, and to pass on band management skills so they can become 'self-sufficient')
c. Recording / Film Clip Making
d. Intro to music technology and music business
e. Performance opportunities
Your Aussie ROCKSCHOOL course will be as follows (approximately) -
55% Rock Band Training10% Co-Management
25% Recording / Film Clip Making
10% Music Technology, Music Business & Performance opportunities.
